Set close to the beaches around Sampieri and Marina di Modica, the villa for 20 has pool views across the magnificent panorama of the countryside surrounding Scicli in southeast Sicily.

Ideal for family celebrations and get-togethers, the villa overlooks extensive grounds, with lawns, terraces and a saline-treated pool (4 x 8m) that remains open from March to November. Choose from two dining terraces, set on honey-coloured cobbled stone, one with an attractive ceramic-tiled open kitchen and barbecue. The garden also has an outdoor bathroom.

Constructed around an ancient stone house, the property comprises a main house and two separate dependences. In the main house, high ceilings and huge doorways and windows allow the light to stream into charming rooms adorned with antique furniture and featuring original polished floors scattered with rugs. On its ground floor is the large living room with sea views and an archway through to the well-equipped open plan kitchen and dining room. From here, you can catch a glimpse of the iconic ‘La Fornace Penna’, a historic building dating back to the early 20th century.

The first double bedroom and bathroom (shower) are on the ground floor. A splendid ceramic tiled staircase leads up to a double and a twin bedroom, and a second stunning contemporary bathroom (shower).

Pretty linens and luxurious, stylish bathrooms also characterise the two dependences. The first comprises two bedrooms, (a double and a twin), with a bathroom. The second has two double bedrooms, each with a mezzanine level sleeping area with two single beds, and two bathrooms with magnificent double showers.

Please note that a caretaker lives in the grounds and is on hand to assist with daily cleaning and the preparation of meals, on request.
