The villa comprises two separate buildings, with blue-shuttered windows and doors, tiled terraces and a scattering of small tables and chairs. In the first of the two buildings, the contemporary veranda-style living space is furnished with sofas and has spectacular views through floor to ceiling retractable glass doors on three sides. Dine al fresco, overlooking the pool and sea, from the shaded terrace, which runs the length of the building and can be accessed directly from the kitchen. The attractive kitchen, with a second dining table, features traditional Sicilian tiled flooring and a high beamed ceiling. The second building comprises 5 double bedrooms, all with bathrooms. Brightly-painted blue doors lead from the outside terrace into four adjacent bedrooms. A fifth bedroom, also with its own independent outside access, has an interconnecting door with one of the four rooms, providing a convenient option for a family with two children. Bedrooms are bright and airy, with lofty vaulted ceilings, and decorated in crisp whites and soft shades of powder blue.
