Located a short drive (11 miles) from a selection of lovely beaches and the stunning baroque towns of Ragusa, Modica and Scicli, the villa is set in the midst of a mosaic landscape of olive groves and fields, bordered by dry-stone walls and dotted with prickly pear cacti and dark green carob trees, reaching out to the sea beyond.

The highpoint of the garden is the large circular pool, which, from its tranquil setting a short distance from the villa, offers magnificent rural views. A series of terraces around the garden are also designed to take full advantage of the rustic vistas, including the main pergola-covered outdoor dining area which looks out over the unspoilt countryside across a traditional dry-stone wall. Dine al fresco, soaking up the atmosphere and views, and feasting on homegrown produce from the small vegetable garden.

Throughout the villa, Accabbanna’s refined décor blends high quality furnishings, natural materials and subtle neutral shades of grey and white. It is set on one level, with a large central living room dominated by a series of windows and glass doors that allow light to stream in whilst at the same time presenting glorious uninterrupted rural views. Several comfortable sofas and a dining table for six fill the spacious living space and expansive glass doors out to the wraparound terrace. Another door leads into a sleek kitchen equipped with outstanding appliances and a breakfast bar. The villa has three bedrooms, two doubles and a twin, each with an ensuite bathroom.
