The nearest beach is at Santa Maria del Focallo, ideal for toddlers thanks to the gently shelving water, and just one of the many stretches of powder soft sand along the coastline around Pozzallo in south east Sicily.
Choose from a selection of water sports at nearby Pozzallo. The baroque towns of Ispica, Noto, Modica and Ragusa are all within an hour’s drive.

The sea in the Bay of Cornino is exceptionally clear and for those in need of shade, sun loungers and umbrellas are available for hire at the Lido Baia Cornino and Lido Aquarius. Dine out at a selection of restaurants within walking distance of the property drive to nearby Scopello and Castellammare del Golfo for more shops, restaurants and gelaterie.
Local towns include, Trapani, Marsala and Erice, a medieval hilltop town with narrow twisting streets and two imposing castles.
