OverviewRe Ruggero is set on the outskirts of Cefalù, one of Sicily’s loveliest coastal resorts, a little over an hour’s drive from Palermo airport. With a pool, striking sea views from each of the six bedrooms and several spacious sea facing terraces, the villa is a superb choice for a larger group or two families.
The villa comprises a main house with a separate guest house for two. For those with their own car, the road descends on a steep gradient to the villa which has two private parking areas, one at the end of this road, the other by the gate to a separate villa entrance via a flight of steps.
Outside, several ample terraces, all with mesmerising views over the water, are furnished with lounge-style outdoor furniture and provide plenty of space for everyone to spread out. On the far terrace, the attractive walled pool area has a sun terrace with sunbeds, umbrellas and an outdoor shower. The shaded dining terrace is furnished with a long table and a well-equipped outdoor kitchen, complete with a pizza oven, barbecue, sink, hob and storage space, making it the perfect spot for lingering over lazy lunches and dinners. Inside, the villa features classic furnishings and dark parquet floors, but still feels bright and spacious thanks to large French windows that open onto stunning sea views. The layout is spread over two levels. On the upper floor, you'll find a modern kitchen with a dining area, a comfortable sitting room, and a billiard room (not yet shown in the photos). There is also a bathroom on this floor with a toilet and bidet.
The lower floor is dedicated to the sleeping area and includes five bedrooms: a master suite with walk-in wardrobe and a luxurious white marble bathroom with double sinks, shower and jacuzzi bathtub; two double bedrooms with built-in wooden wardrobes; a bedroom with a small double bed; and a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower and sink only. This last bedroom also has a large wardrobe. A third bathroom on this level includes a bathtub with handheld shower.
The independent annex is set on a slightly higher level to the main house, accessed via steps, and with its own terrace. It includes a double bedroom, with doors on to the terrace, and a bathroom with shower. A small kitchen corner and TV allows guests complete independence from the main villa.
