Wish Sicily is top of the list of 50 best budget holidays for summer. Suggestions include Villa Rebecca, a brand new 4-bedroom villa with private pool and Casa Sant’Anna, a family villa for 5. Finding high-quality villas with a pool is never easy at this time of year, so, not surprisingly, the villas are getting snapped up quickly. However, there are still several school holiday weeks available, as well as all of September, so the advice is not to hang around!
Villa Rebecca, which has its bedrooms and bathrooms split across two floors, is ideal for two families who want to share – although it also works really well for families with teenagers who want some extra privacy. There’s even a second living room! Table tennis and the provision of bikes makes the villa even more appealing to families with older children. The villa is 2km from the beach at Lido di Noto and in a great location for exploring the popular south east corner of Sicily. It’s very close to Noto town and not too far from the motorway which links Syracuse with the towns of Modica and Ragusa.
Casa Sant’Anna is in north east Sicily, perched on a hillside with views of the Aeolian islands. Just a few kilometres from Acquedolci, the villa is close to a selection of sandy beaches and an hour’s drive from the lively seaside resort of Cefalù.
